Honest woodworking — turning rough wood into useful things, learning as I go.

I’m a hobby woodworker building toward retirement, focused on thoughtful projects, real process, and learning along the way.

Woodworking is how I slow down, work with my hands, and turn rough or overlooked wood into something useful. I enjoy building furniture, small projects, and the occasional turned piece — always with an emphasis on process rather than perfection.

I’m not a professional or an expert. I make mistakes, try new techniques, and learn as I go. This site documents that journey — the projects, the lessons, and the satisfaction of making things meant to be used.

Available Work & Custom Projects

From time to time, I make pieces that are available for purchase — along with select custom projects when my schedule allows. My focus is on practical, well-made work meant to be used and enjoyed, not mass production.

If something you see here speaks to you, or if you have an idea for a custom piece, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to talk through what’s possible.
